The CalHERO program is designed to reward and save eligible Heroes money with reduced interest rates and reduced fees when buying or refinancing a home. You'll also be working with an experienced team of dedicated and fully licensed mortgage experts who's number one goal is to serve the CalHERO community.
Additionally, buyers who choose to work directly with a participating CalHERO real estate agent may receive a cash rebate or credit at the time of closing.

Step 1
Complete the 2 minute Check Eligibility form to receive your initial 'Certificate of Eligibility'
Step 2
Connect and consult with the CalHERO Home Loan Loan Advisor that will contact you to discuss your goals, strategy, qualifying criteria, loan options and the possibility of working with a CalHERO Real Estate Agent Partner to receive an additional cash rebate or credit.
Step 3
Complete the CalHERO Loan Application and upload supporting documents needed for your CalHERO Home Loan preapproval.
Step 4
Receive your official Pre-Approval letter
Step 5
Conduct home search and submit offers on homes you wish to purchase
Step 6
Get your offer accepted, receive final loan approval, fund and close your loan, then move into your new home
